The competition was TOUGH!Overall the Boys came in 21st and the girls came in 23rd. It may not sound very impressive, but remember that our classification has the fastest runners in the state which compete at the highest level. HOSA Club Visits Healthcare of Atlanta after Toy DriveHOSA sponsor, Ashley Dasher announced that LHS HOSA hosted a school wide toy drive during the month of October to donate to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Toys were also donated from South Georgia Allstar Cheerleading in honor of Riley Hall who cheers with them and is a Children's Healthcare of Atlanta patient. Twenty-five HOSA students were able to attend a tour of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's Egelston Campus and several hundred toys were presented to help brighten the patient's day.

AFJROTC Wins Big in Bainbridge!Report from Maj. Olsen:The Air Force competitive teams (drill team, color guard, and armed drill) went to Bainbridge Saturday and swept the competition. The cadets took first place trophies in all team events. Additionallly, Kale Leisey and Anna Butcher won Outstanding Commander in their events, and Emanuelito Miller took second in Individual Drill Response.Team members were: James Bertsch, Nevada Bird, Anna Butcher, Brandi Childs, Taylor Cook, Savannah Croft, Sierra Dickinson, Gabriel Ellwood, Travis Freeman, James Hahn, John Huckestein, Kale Leisey, Emanuelito Miller, Alanna Ricketson, Taylor Rowan, Griffen Schmidt, Brandon Stewart, Traphen Stribley, Ryan VanNortwick, Spencer Vopal, Joseph Walker, Michael Welch, Jason Wentz, and Bailey Whitley.Please congratulate these cadets when you see them.

One-Act Play Region Competition ResultsResults reported by Mrs. Sheri Dorsett, Drama teacher:LHS came in 2nd in Region behind Lee County.
