Annual NAHS workshops and the Regional High School Invitational

The art department and NAHS had an awesome weekend! We took 21 NAHS students to Columbus for our Annual NAHS workshops and Sunday was the opening of the Regional High School Invitational.  The workshops include an art throw down competition that includes several categories and a push pin exhibit for all students to participate in. The following students won in their categories.

Kethry Royer - 2nd Place Ceramics,  
Taylor Gray - 4th Place Plein Air Painting,  
Ramiro Santillan -1st Place Plein Air Painting,  
Olivia Gibbs - 3rd Place Still-life Challenge, 
Taylor Elliott - 2nd Place Still-life Challenge, 
Katelynn Florig - 5th Place Digital Photography

Amanda Bishop receive a top 5 for her push pin piece.
Ramiro Santillan received 1st Place in the push pin exhibit.

At the Regional High School Invitational:

Please congratulate all of these students for their awards and for being chosen to be in the show.  We are only allowed 10 works each so it is a tough decision.  Please try to stop by the Turner Center to see the work.  It will be on display through the month of March.
