As reported by Art teachers, Sherry Bennett and Heather Dorsey:
We would like to thank everyone who came to be a part of our Annual LHS Spring Art Exhibit. I think we had the largest crowd we have ever had. A total of around 150 teachers, students, parents, friends, grandparents, aunts and uncles and even youth ministers were there to celebrate these students’ accomplishments. We appreciate your interest and presence.
Since mid-March students in the National Art Honor Society have been staying after school finishing artwork, cutting mats and foamboard and shrinkwrapping each two-dimensional piece that is in the show. They worked so very hard to make the art exhibit happen. We appreciate their hard work and dedication.
Local Artists served as our judges this year and struggled with their task. We are proud of all of the students that entered work into this show.
