As reported by Coach Thomas, Please help me congratulate our 9th grade baseball team, as they picked up a huge win against Cook Co. 2-0 yesterday. The no hitter was a group effort as Cameron Carter, Seth Weeks, and Andrew Clark did the pitching for the Vikings. They combined to strike out 6, walk 5, giving up 0 runs on 0 hits. Offensively, Reid Wilcher led the Vikings going 2-2 and scoring 1 run. Easton Willis , John Mark Dawson, Hunter Peagler, Caleb Burns, and Kolby Bussy kept the team effort going as they all had a single hit helping to add on the 2nd run. They nearly played flawless baseball defensively as well, only committing one error.

The sub varsity baseball teams will end their season Saturday, as the JV will travel to Lee Co. and the 9th grade will host Lee Co. in a double header starting at 11:00.
If you get a chance come out and support the future of Lowndes Baseball this weekend as they have worked very hard, improving their play throughout the year.
