Lowndes High Represented Well by TSA Members at Georgia State Conference

Lowndes High TSA members competed at the Georgia State Conference in Athens, Georgia March 8 - 11th, 2017. Lowndes high students represented us well! Paige Pickett kicked off our conference by singing the National Anthem during opening ceremonies. TSA State President, Trevor Terry and Sergeant at Arms, Preston Crawford finished their term as state officers, but continuing the long tradition of outstanding State and National Officers will be Tate Green. Lowndes High will be home to the 2017-2018 State Treasurer, Tate Green. 

Please congratulate the following Lowndes High TSA members that finished in the top 10 for the following events: 
1st place Digital Video - Trevor Terry and Ethan Wetherington; 
1st place Extemporaneous Speech - Jack Crawford; 
1st Place Outstanding Student - Jack Crawford; 
2nd place Essays on Technology- Jack Crawford;
3rd place Coding - Reilly Lennon, Jeremy Craven and Aaron Cowger; 
3rd place - Chapter Team - Trevor Terry, Preston Crawford, Christopher Bellflowers, Liam Wetherington, Tate Green, Courtney Raymond; 
4th place for outstanding chapter - Lowndes High; 
5th place - Future Technology Teacher - Jack Crawford; 
5th place - Technology Bowl - Reilly Lennon, Christopher Bellflowers and Ethan Wetherington; 
5th place - Systems Control Technology - Jake Demersseman, Christopher Bellflowers and Wesley Smith; 
6th place - Georgia Electrathon (Electric Vehicle Race) - Jake Demersseman, Garret Garland and Bryce Herb; 
6th place - Children's Stories - Kathryn Crawford and Sarah Cole; 
7th place - Animatronics - Christopher Bellflowers, Ethan Wetherington and Trevor Terry; 
8th place - Dragster Design - Courtney Raymond; 
9th place - Biotechnology Design - Wesley Smith and Ebony Williams; 
9th place - Computer Aided Engineering (CAD) Engineering- Liam Wetherington; 
Bryce Herb, Mason Sterling and Gavin McGuire made finals in VEX Robotics, but unfortunately were eliminated in the first round.
