Vex Robotics Tournament hosted at LHS

As reported by Cammie Lund:
On Saturday, January 21st, Lowndes High School’s VEX Robotics teams hosted a tournament at Lowndes High School. Five Viking Robotics teams competed in the tournament. Other schools competing were from all over the state.
Lowndes High School has had a VEX Robotics team for seven years, and has proved successful, competing and excelling in local, state, and world tournaments throughout those years. Last year most of our veteran teams graduated and this year has proved to be a rebuilding year. Despite this belief, Lowndes VEX Robotics has risen to the occasion, having competed in three tournaments already this year.
Lowndes High School would like to thank all of the supporters and volunteers from PCA, Virtual World Technologies, and Craven Industries for all of their dedication to making this tournament a success. Lowndes VEX Robotics plans to attend the State VEX Tournament, February 3rd and 4th.
