Vikettes Stay Hot at the Vikette Invitational

posted Sep 12, 2016, 8:04 AM by KRISTAL DAWSON
As reported by Coach Thomas, We had our Vikette Invitational this weekend, and it could not have gone better. Beautiful Weather (hot, but beautiful), the JV won their two games, and  the Varsity won their two games. That puts the girls at a record of 13-2.

We have a big one this week as well.  Tuesday, the  JV plays their final games of the year against Tift at Home. Friday the Varsity will also host Tift in the opening of region play. Friday will consist of a Double Header with games starting at 4:00 and 6:00. This will be an awesome day if you are a fan of LHS athletics. Come out and watch our softball team against Tift, and then you can mozy on over to the Stadium and see the Vikings as the take on Newton.  Maybe it only gets better if you were able to watch the Braves at the same time, but with the year they are having, I think its safe to say it does not get any better than this Friday at LHS.

Thanks for all you do for our athletes,
