We are searching for members of the graduating class of 1967 to help celebrate the 50th anniversary of Lowndes High School. If you are a LHS alumnae, make sure you join us for the celebration.
On Thursday, Sept. 22, we are throwing a birthday party and community appreciation celebration, along with our annual bonfire. We would like to invite anyone and everyone to join us at 7 p.m. on the Lowndes High campus for the festivities.
Come hear Coach McPherson pump up the crowd for the big game, party with Hot 102.7, 99.5 Kix Country, and 107.9 the Beat, enjoy carnival game classics such as the car smash and dunking booth and enjoy delicious hamburgers, hot-dogs and funnel cakes sold by the Bridgemen Grill Team.
Lowndes High School Student Council will be giving out free birthday cake. There will also be a booth set up to collect spare change to help support “Be the Change,” a fundraiser for Hugs of Hope, an organization that aids families affected by pediatric cancer. Admission is free and everyone is welcome. So come on out, and party like a Viking should.
