Lowndes Winter Guard

Reported by Jon Bowman:
The Lowndes Winter Guard spent their Spring Break traveling to Dayton, OH to compete in the WGI World Championships. They competed in the Scholastic National A classification against 134 other schools that had qualified.  After a Prelims and Semifinals performance they joined the top 24 schools in the finals competition.  They were awarded a 6th place finish at the awards ceremony.

This will mark the second year in a row the Winter Guard has finished in the top 10 at World Championships.

Please congratulate these students on an amazing job and representing Lowndes High School in an amazing light.
