Winter Guard Finishes Strong at World Championship

The Lowndes Winter Guard spent their Spring Break traveling to Dayton, OH to compete in the WGI World Championships. They competed in the Scholastic National A classification against 134 other schools that had qualified.  After a Prelims and Semifinals performance they joined the top 24 schools in the finals competition.  They were awarded a 6th place finish at the awards ceremony.

This will mark the second year in a row the Winter Guard has finished in the top 10 at World Championships.  

Please congratulate these students on an amazing job and representing Lowndes High School in an amazing light.
