Please review the form attached that explains our "Senior Directory" section in the yearbook. Every senior needs to turn in a Quote and 2 pictures to be included.   This form gives step-by-step instructions on how Seniors (you) should turn in a "Senior Quote," "Baby/kid picture," and a "Recent Picture" to the yearbook staff for a section known as the Senior Directory.  This is free to all seniors and we encourage everyone to participate.  Please turn in the Quote on or with the form.  Handwritten quotes are fine as long as we can read them.  NOTE: Choose carefully! Each senior only gets one quote and this will forever be associated with your name in the yearbook.  Quotes must be school appropriate or they will be declined.   About Sharing Photos: *Your pictures can be sent via email, flash drive, or printed copies... you may send your information/pictures directly to Mr. Clements and the yearbook staff at <>.   If you would like to bring a flashdrive or printed copies of photographs, put them in an envelope or ziploc bag with your name and VIP teacher's name on it.  We will return all materials when finished.   Everything is DUE BY OCTOBER 3rd VIP!!!  2020 Sr Directory Request.docx

Hi Seniors, Just wanted to make sure all seniors knew the requirements that will be used in  the selection of our STAR student for this year. Basically there are two parts to being selected as the STAR student.    First, the student with the highest SAT score from one test date ( no superscoring allowed ) is determined.  The last test date that will be used in making the selection is November 2, 2019.   Any and all test dates prior to Nov. 2nd will be looked at and considered. Second,  that student must be in the top 10 % of the class academically, based on class rank through the end of junior year. So, once we get the  November 2nd test scores in, we will go through the process and find out who will be the STAR student for LHS for 2019/2020. Thanks and good luck !

Seniors, Many of you have asked about sending your final transcript to a college. Remember, you will need to send two transcripts to the college during the admission process. The first being when you apply and the second following graduation. Your application with the college will not be completed until you send the final transcript. The week after graduation, you will need to log into your Gafutures account to request the final transcript be sent.  Directions: Log into your Gafutures account at Click on "College Planning". Click on the sixth box down titled "High School Trasncripts". Follow the directions from there.

Seniors!!!  Yearbooks are here! It is a tradition at LHS that seniors be the first to see the new yearbooks.  The school will host a Yearbook Release Party in the cafeteria Friday at 11:00.  All seniors will be released from class a this time to enjoy the event.  There is no requirement of purchase to attend. We will have free sodas and cake for all seniors. Those seniors who purchased a yearbook will be allowed to pick up their books. We will also have a sales table set up for those who wish to purchase a book on the spot. The price for yearbooks is $60... checks should be made out to LHS in that amount... if you want to pay with a debit or credit card, you have to go to the "School Store" link on the LHS website.   Please help us spread the word to seniors who are off campus in the mornings.  We want all seniors who are available to be able to participate.   If you have questions, contact Mr. Clements by email or locate him in E726.   p.s. This event will not interfere with the Senior Parade.  Seniors will be allowed to  stay in the lunchroom until first lunch begins.  Seniors will organize and load buses after first lunch.
