This year's PROBE College Fair will be held at Valdosta High School on October 7. You can drop in anytime between 6-8 PM and meet with over 80 college representatives from all across Georgia and our bordering states! This is a great opportunity to network with colleges you may be interested in as well as learning more about schools you  have never heard of before! See your counselor if you have questions!

Seniors,  You have one week left to collect your pictures and find a quote for the Senior Directory in the Yearbook.  These are due by the October 3rd VIP.  Don't forget!

Please review the form attached that explains our "Senior Directory" section in the yearbook. Every senior needs to turn in a Quote and 2 pictures to be included.   This form gives step-by-step instructions on how Seniors (you) should turn in a "Senior Quote," "Baby/kid picture," and a "Recent Picture" to the yearbook staff for a section known as the Senior Directory.  This is free to all seniors and we encourage everyone to participate.  Please turn in the Quote on or with the form.  Handwritten quotes are fine as long as we can read them.  NOTE: Choose carefully! Each senior only gets one quote and this will forever be associated with your name in the yearbook.  Quotes must be school appropriate or they will be declined.   About Sharing Photos: *Your pictures can be sent via email, flash drive, or printed copies... you may send your information/pictures directly to Mr. Clements and the yearbook staff at <[email protected]>.   If you would like to bring a flashdrive or printed copies of photographs, put them in an envelope or ziploc bag with your name and VIP teacher's name on it.  We will return all materials when finished.   Everything is DUE BY OCTOBER 3rd VIP!!!  2020 Sr Directory Request.docx

Hi Seniors, Just wanted to make sure all seniors knew the requirements that will be used in  the selection of our STAR student for this year. Basically there are two parts to being selected as the STAR student.    First, the student with the highest SAT score from one test date ( no superscoring allowed ) is determined.  The last test date that will be used in making the selection is November 2, 2019.   Any and all test dates prior to Nov. 2nd will be looked at and considered. Second,  that student must be in the top 10 % of the class academically, based on class rank through the end of junior year. So, once we get the  November 2nd test scores in, we will go through the process and find out who will be the STAR student for LHS for 2019/2020. Thanks and good luck !
