Mrs. King’s class made the most of a beautiful day! We’ve been learning all about the needs of plants, and today we got our hands dirty and planted our very own flowers. The students are so excited to care for them and watch them grow—what a wonderful way to bring our science lessons to life!

To show our support for Month of the Military Child, we are inviting all Dewar Elementary School students, families, school employees, and community members to participate in Spirit week before we “Purple Up!” on April 16th for military children. Why purple? Purple symbolizes all branches of the military as a combination of Army green, Marine Corps red, and Coast Guard, Navy, Air Force, and Space Force blue. Spirit Week: Monday, April 14th: Green/Camo Day Tuesday, April 15th: Super Hero Wednesday, April 16th: Purple UP!!! Thursday, April 17th: Yellow for Dandelions Friday, April 18th: Wear RED to Remember Everyone Deployed
