Yesterday, LHS hosted the Region Literary competition.  It was a full day event with Camden, Colquitt County, Richmond Hill and Valdosta high schools on campus.  Students competed in Essay, Extemporaneous Speech, Literary Interpretation (Theatre), and several Music events.  

Lowndes High School was awarded overall Region One 7-A Literary Runner Up!   Please congratulate the following students from LHS who represented us well in the following categories:

MUSIC

Girl's Solo - Rebecca Keown (FIRST place)

Boy's Solo - Brody Sturgill (SECOND place)

Girl's Trio - Joni Olson, Riley Rentz, Tierney Walton (SECOND place)

LITERARY INTERPRETATION

Dramatic Duo - Joni Olson & Sarah (Tae) Foreman (FIRST place)

Solo Humorous - Riley Rentz (SECOND place)

ESSAY

Argumentative - Erin Yoo (SECOND place)

Personal - Gracie DeFelice (SECOND place)

Literary Analysis - Pooja Dayaratna (SECOND place)
