We are proud to announce that Lowndes High School senior, Mason Slaughter, has been selected to represent Georgia as a delegate to the United States Senate Youth Program (USSYP) — one of the nation’s most prestigious leadership programs for high school students. 🇺🇸
This highly competitive honor is awarded to just two students from each state and recognizes exceptional scholarship, leadership, and civic engagement. As a USSYP delegate, Mason will soon travel to Washington, D.C., where he will engage in an immersive study of the federal government, meet national leaders, and participate in high-level discussions on public service and democracy.
