Viking Family,

This week, November 17–21, LCS is observing Homeless Youth Awareness Week to shine a light on student homelessness and the power of compassion and courage.

On Wednesday, November 19, we invite all staff and students to “Go Green for Good.”
Wearing green is a simple, visible way to help raise awareness of the challenges many of our students face. Last year, more than 275 LCS students qualified for services under the McKinney-Vento Act, living in shelters, motels, cars, or doubled-up housing.

This campaign is our chance to say loud and clear: No student facing hardships walks alone.

Thank you for joining us in this important effort!

Mrs. Collins’ Lit III students went full “Department of Applied Intelligence” today as they learned real investigative techniques from retired OSI Federal Agent Mr. David Collins. 💼
Using professional case-building strategies, students are analyzing evidence, tracking inconsistencies, and uncovering secrets hidden within Season 1 of the Limetown podcast. 🧠✨
Real-world inquiry meets literary analysis — and the results are 🔥.
