Mrs. Hannah’s students transitioned from readers to engineers this week. After reading and analyzing the architectural descriptions in The Wild Robot, they were tasked with building their own lodges out of toothpicks and marshmallows to see if they could withstand the elements—or at least a few whole post-it notepads being dropped on them!
The results: Some impressive structural integrity, a few catastrophic collapses, and a lot of hands-on insight into Roz’s world within The Wild Robot!

Huge shoutout to Mrs. Roberts’ Financial Literacy students! 🎓✨
They just tackled the End Of Pathway Assessment in Business Accounting and came out on top. Hard work, sharp numbers, and a bright future in finance ahead! 📈💰

The LHS Choirs Spring 2026 concert is Thursday, April 30th at 6:30pm in the LHS PAC. Don’t miss The Viking Cantors perform their Show Choir show “Be The Hero” along with a variety of Concert music by Mixed Chorus, Women’s Chorus, and The Viking Cantors as well as LHS’ Combined Choirs. We are also excited to welcome our rising 9th and 8th grade middle school Chorus friends from LMS, HMS, and PGMS! It’s going to be a WONDERFUL evening!

They are the first smile you see when you walk in and the last friendly face you see when you leave. But what happens between check-in and check-out is where the real magic happens.
Our Administrative Assistants are essentially riding a bicycle while juggling... and they make it look easy! 🚲🤹♀️
Every single day, they are expertly handling:
✅ The First Impression: Setting the tone for every guest visit
📞 The Switchboard: Managing a non-stop flow of calls with grace
💳 The Books: Handling payments with total precision.
🛠️ The "Fix": Navigating hiccups and last-minute changes on the fly
To our Administrative Assistants: Thank you for being the glue that holds us together and the engine that keeps us moving. We couldn't do it without you!

Who says you need a computer to learn software? 🔌🚫
Ms. Tindall’s class went "unplugged" today! Students explored the foundations of programming by turning real-world algorithms into visual flow charts. It’s all about mastering the logic before the lines of code. Seeing the "aha!" moments as they mapped out the programming process was the highlight of the day! 🧠✨
